Re: [cobalt-users] Open Mailing List

I have another point of view on Outbridge. I have used it for several
months as a stop-gap while I was evaluating Web enabled mail clients. I got
nothing but complaints from my customers and afilliates about it. The
biggest problem is it is painfully slow. I recently installed TWIG (free
from the folks at screwdriver.net) on a 4 way Xeon Compaq Proliant 7000
running RedHat 6.1 locally and my afilliates and customers are happilly
zipping along now. It is not a plug-in though. It requires a PHP capable
Apache server. I have had it production about 2 weeks for one domain and I
will be soon making it available for all my virtual domains. Hopefully it
will work as well in a virtual situation. If you want, I can keep the list
updated on my progess and findings.
