Goto www.outbridge.com - they have great web-based mail that will log into
your server and users can check mail, send mail, etc. There is a built in
calendar, task list, etc. The nice thing about Outbridge is that you use
their resources instead our your servers. You add DNS entry so your
customers check their mail at http://webmail.yourdomain.com. Its free to you
and your customers.
We have been using it for several weeks. Our traveling managers like it
because they can easily check their email from customer locations without
having to set up a mail client.

My point was that when a user logs into his/her account on the Web based
administration, they should be able to check/send e-mail. I'm sure it would
be vary useful to many people. Just look at the success hotmail has had w/
POP users who need to check their e-mail away from home.
