Fast enough for what? The ISP we just bought hosted over 20 domains on
a 128k Frame Relay connection (since replaced).

No, you don't need to set it up to work on your windows network. It's
totally self-sufficient.

I'd really like to believe you. Really. But honestly I don't. Because
if you really had set this up at work you'd know exactly how your cable
connection is similar to the stuff you've done at work, and exactly how
it differs.
