Since you didn't quote anything in your email, I must go to your
"subject" field, and I determine that the KakWorm is what you hate.
Applaudable <smile>.

The sad part is that you probably believe this. I've NEVER seen
anything eaiser than just typing "mail" from a linux prompt.

I don't diss AOL because it's easy to use. Instead I diss it because it
fills my machine with megabytes of worthless crap I don't need and don't
want, because it deletes all other ISP settings without warning, because
it doesn't give me standard news or email, but limits me to what AOL
wants me to have. Because of the busy signals. Because for some reason
I can guess about but not know about, all aol addresses become spam and
even porno spam targets before long.

And last (but certainly not least) because once when THEY made a mistake
and THOUGHT my credit card had expired (though it hadn't) they cancelled
my account and deleted all my unread email.

If you want to limit yourself, be inundated with advertising and spam,
and live under a security blanket for the rest of your life, that's
fine, too.

That's about being tool-users. Those of us that use Windows on our
desktops do so because it has tools we prefer. I suppose that's why you
use AOL, as well.

As for me, I use Windows instead of Linux as my home system because some
of the programs I use (including the accounting package we use for our
ISP) aren't available on Linux.

I wish they were.
