No. But there is a way to receive mail sent to "mail@xxxxxxxxxx" if
that's what you want to do.

Not if you can send mail from mail@xxxxxxxxxx and get mail sent to
mail@xxxxxxxxxx, right?
Create a user for domain.com. Name the user something like getmail.
Give that user an alias of mail. Then read the mail sent to "getmail".
To send mail from "getmail" just set the email address in your email
client to "mail@xxxxxxxxxx".
