RE: [cobalt-users] dhcpc for eth1 on Cube2

Thanks for the response, Rodolfo!

Are you sure, that dhcpc is attempting to configure eth1? I do have a dhcp
server on that network, and yet the cube does not come up with an address
for that interface. I see that the led says it's doing dhcpc, and I see in
ifup that eth0 uses dhcpc in some situations, but I don't see anything about
dhcpc for eth1. I tried removing address information from ifcfg-eth1 and
changing BOOTPROTO to dhcpc, but that did not work either. I see nothing in
the dhcpc directory. I see nothing in syslog or any other log about dhcpc
on eth1. There is no dhcpcd process running on the box. Something is not
working.

Thanks!

Dave

I appreciate your comments about the .html as well. However, I believe that
I am sending email in plain-text format with some unicode information.
Maybe you saw some type of extraneous unicode information at the end of my
post. I turned that off for purposes of posting to this list although my
message looks o.k. in the archive. I need the unicode for sending Russian.
