[cobalt-users] [RAQ2] shell scrip locations

What am I missing here.
I put the following code which works when I type it in by hand:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd.init restart
into a file like: "/usr/bin/restart_apache"
because it's easier to remember.
When I attempt to run it even as root, I get:
sh: /usr/bin/restart_apache: Permission denied
So, since I'm a newbie at this shell (and linux), what am I doing wrong?
TIA
Scott
