I'm not saying they don't have multiple DS-3's but I
certainly didn't see a hint of an OC-192 between here and
there. They may have an OC-192 terminating there in the facility or
their may close by or somewhere along the line their data may pass
through one.

I'll also admit that I tend to get a bit tight about these
kind of thing but I make no appology for that.

The average person has absolutely no concept whatsoever of
the nuances of connectivity. My guess is that there are plenty
experianced and very knowledgable system admins on this list that
wouldn't recognize an OC-192 if they tripped over one. Worse yet,
perhaps, a well managed itty bitty connection can and often will
outperform a staturated pipe of immense size.

The point is that the argument is nebulous. The physical
size of the pipe is not nearly as important as the amount of free
bandwidth available on the pipe is.

Nevertheless, the average person seeking a virtual host or
reseller account is going to see that OC-192 claim exactly as the
people who put it there intend it to be seen.

Shoot me for calling that shady, at best.

I've got one (1) foot of OC-48 fiber (really) here. It's
hanging on the wall. But that doesn't mean I have OC-48 connectivity
even though my attorney jokingly told me that I could if I just put
it in the loop. But there's a big difference between having access
to OC-whatever fiber and having OC-whatever bandwidth.

If we cut to the chase, things start making a lot of
sense. While I can't speak for anyone else, if the 16oz bottles of
pop I drink only contained 1oz of the fluid that keeps me going, I'd
be thinking that something is amiss somewhere.

	Peace be with you,
