Re: [cobalt-users] MySQL-Server as own user

I've like no idea how I can do so? I anyway start to hate this cr**, can't Cobalt just release a package for that without letting the users do that? I for example have a RAQ2 because my Linux skills are very little. But I need MySQL and PHP, so what can I do? I have to install that stuff myself without no tiny clue what I am doing, I am not even sure if PHP4.0 is installed right now. I tried to change the php.ini but after "whereis php.ini" it tells me a directory where it should be in, but it is definitely NOT.

I am sorry that I am letting this out now, but I was sitting here now for hours telnetting around on my RAQ2 and it is probably more unstable and unsecure than ever. I think: Just because things seem to work to the outside there is no prove that it really works smoothly inside too.
