My raq2 seems to be having difficulties with the concept of sending an
email to joebloggs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and not
jobloggs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It's intermittent, but it seems that sometimes the whole alias thing is
too much for my raq2 and it just sends the mail to the
username@Idon'tcarewhichdomainit'sfrom.com.au, rather than being nice and
sending it to the alias of the domain that owns the alias.
I keep getting Cron messages that tell me:
Warning: site admin lists are out of sync. Fixing...
Warning: site admin lists are out of sync. Fixing...
The subject field is the following:
Cron <root@muddy> /usr/local/sbin/monitor
I'm getting lots and lots of these messages. We've been having problems
over the last three weeks where, like I said, unfortunately we seem to be
missing some
aliases and then email doesn't get to our clients that have their sites
hosted by us (we have about 80 sites that we are hosting; and several
users/aliases on each site) on our Raq2. I'm still learning about Linux
as I'm from an MCSE background so.. Enough said.
I don't know how to stabilize my raq2. I want it to hum happilly but
there's something that keeps upsetting it. Is there anything I should be
looking at; I've looked through the messages from the Cobolt mailing
lists and the closest thread is the one about virtusertables. Plus I've
read all that stuff about the Raq3 not doing 'virtusertable' very well. I
keep
checking the virtusertable and refreshing it by 'saving' it through the
gui, that fixes it temporarily. What does anyone think?
thanks,
- Claudia
