gateway has one already on the market
:::course if you read up on it... but my understanding is that gateway
purchases them from cobalt:::  either way, you might check into it if
your beef is with cobalts support :::not that gateway's is better::: 
and gateway may add some other apps off the line.  As far as an
alternative to the cobalt NASRaq, take a look at Quantum's Snap server.

as for me, I'll stick with cobalt
