Ok let's hit this one thing at a time.
That Doc's thorn....
I suggest you go the the gui and make a new site. something like
ssldoc.yourdomain.com. Then setup a address record for it pointing to the
yourdomain.com ip and make sure you un-check the Automatic Reverse Address
Record Generation box below save the changes and then save the settings
again at the settings window.
Now test it
http://ssldoc.yourdomain.com
You should get the standard start page
Next Telnet in as admin at least and type this...
mv /home/httpd/html/* /home/sites/ssldoc.yourdomain.com/web/
click refresh (F5) on your browser at
http://ssldoc.yourdomain.com
and you should have your ssl docs
If you go back to https://www.yourdomain.com you should get a index listing
of nothing. All wide open for your pages and cgi's. I realize this may not
be a complete solution so please take care of this one and let me know whats
left. :) Btw would you e-mail me off the list and let me know if your happy
with rackspace?
