[cobalt-users] Migration

Hey folks,
first of all: I got the problem solved I posted lately. The Problem was that
the root-pw was changed and could not be reset. Cobalt support pointed out
to me that a full /var or / partition is a problem. And a df showed me that
/var was fully consumed. I somehow got to delete some files which helped. I
could su to root and then deleted the logs in /var/log first. So watch your
logfiles, they might lock you out.
But again I'm facing a problem.
I'm migrating a few sites from a raq1 to a raq2.
This is how I do it:
1.) tar all files of the site on raq1
2.) transfer tar-file via ftp to raq2 (any directory)
3.) delete site on raq1
4.) create site on raq2 while using the same IP address as on raq1
5.) create users
6.) copy old files into appropriate directories
Now when I'm finished and try to ping or http to the domain or ip adress, I
get a timeout. But, when logged in via telnet (over the raq2's main ip) I
can ping the domain without any problem.
I tried rebooting both machines which doesn't help much.
Any ideas?
Tia
