Hello,
As a proud owner of a Raq3i, I'm currently experiencing some trouble
with the access log rotating, (/var/log/httpd/access). This proded me to
look for a patch. Cobalt.com has RaQ3-All-System-Point-2.3.pkg for systems
with more than 123 virtual sites. Although I had not yet reached 123
virtuals on this box, I installed the patch. I've now exceeded 123 sites,
and true to form, the log rotation is still munged. Should this patch have
been applied after 123rd virtual? Anyone have any insight? Here's my err
msg:
*********************
errors occured while rotating /var/log/httpd/access
error running prerotate script --
leaving old log in place
*********************
Followed by: (Doubt there's a relation between these messages 'NTP &
LogRotate', but it's information.
*********************
/etc/cron.daily/ntpdate.auto: syntax error near unexpected token

/etc/cron.daily/ntpdate.auto: /etc/cron.daily/ntpdate.auto: line 12:
`/sbin/clock -w -u >>/var/cobalt/sauce.log 2>&1'

Have tried /var/lib/cobalt/uninstallers/Pkg-name.pkg then updating the
../.cobalt/index/index.cgi, then re-installing from the web interface...but
I get a message that the pkg is already installed. Is there more command
line info on resolving this, or possibly another patch?!
Thanks,
Doug MacAdam
