10 seconds of time on the 400 or so messages I get a day...

4,000 seconds.  That's over an hour.  If I were paying for online time,
I'd appreciate saving an hour every day.  I don't pay for online time,
and I still appreciate saving an hour every day.

It takes me less than five seconds to strip the bottom of a post, and
then a few hundred people don't have to waste ten seconds.

Personally, I consider that time well spent.
