You may have solved this by now but here goes.
Every DNS entry has multiple settings that effect how quickly or otherwise
that other servers give up on information that they have cached.
One thing that can really slow things down is if the serial number of the
primary DNS entry isn't incremented properly.
Having worked on a variety of DNS some are better than others at this.
I believe that the RAQ autoincrements (someone please correct me if I'm
wrong).
It might be worth checking the serial number on the SOA record from one of
the servers on which this isn't propagating against the serial number on
your primary. Some other servers check this value to see if the info they
have is up to date. The secondary DNS will check this value to see if it
needs to update its info.
The SOA record can also tell you what the TTL values are at default for your
domain.
I use a program called cyberkit that you can download from softseek.com
which lays this info out nicely.
