This works great but how does it work? I use http meta-refresh to direct
one domain to another site but it does not maintain the address in the
address bar, all it does is foward the users browser to the other server.
This new way does look much better but does all the traffic from the other
server now flow through my server too?

That will keep the sub-domain in the URL box and look at files in ~hisclient
AND cgi-bin will work AND hisclient shares mydomain.com's disk quota.
Ingenious huh? I wrote that after spending an hour on the apache site.
