While registration isn't technically necessary, the Copyright office of the
Library of Congress will tell you if you submit the forms a register the
copyright on the images in question, you will have better protection and be
able to collect attorney and any other costs involved in going after someone
who steals your images. http://www.loc.gov/copyright/faq.html#q13 As it may
cause confusion between your site and the site that steals your graphics,
damages shouldn't be hard to prove.

Guess I'm not as nice in this case. I'd send a simple letter to their ISP
informing them of the illegal use of copyrighted images and insisting they
be removed.
