I asked the same question last week, no response.  What I did was setup 
ssl.hostdomain.com  and provide 1mb ssl accounts from that.  Beleive it or 
not, domains on the same IP address as ssl.hostdomain.com can access 
https://www.theirdomain.com/~ssl_username
