[cobalt-users] .htaccess Problem on RAQ2

We are haivng problems getting .htaccess files to function properly on our
RAQ2. We took the same .htaccess and AuthUserFile files from a Linux
system on which they operated fine and placed them on our RAQ2. When we
connect to the protected directory, it prompts for a user/password but
anything entered is incorrect.
Our .htaccess file is as follows:
AuthName "Admins Only"
AuthType Basic
AuthUserFile /home/sites/site3/htpasswd
require valid-user
The "htpasswd" file exists, has the right data, and the correct
permissions, yet the login is still rejected. I've tried "require user
XXX" and even groups, but to no avail. Does anyone know if there some sort
of Authentication override in the default Cobalt httpd.conf files that
prevent these files from using Basic Authentication?

Chris
