My intention was to solicate responses from other users as to the support
they were reciveing via the Cobalt form. I had no idea a flame war would
erupt.
Our RaQ3 is leased from a hosting company who provide the box, tech support
and connectivity. Because the box was just, and I mean just, released when
we bought it, our host is new to the idiosyctasy of the RaQ3 like everyone
else.
As Chris stated "When there are bugs in the Cobalt software, I don't want to
install a fix from anyone but Cobalt....Only Cobalt can fix those
problems.....It doesn't matter where you bought the product, Cobalt says
that they support it, but it just doesn't seem that the support really
exists."
There is also the Frontpage SSL issue, which I reported. In Cobalt's defense
they did address that issue in this forum, but still no permenant SW fix.
There are still issues outstanding such as the domains being repeated on the
report screen, the non-functional Time adjustment function, and the
unexplicable log rotation setup. These are all know (Since the first of the
year) and have not been addressed.
We were stupid enough to download some of the updates soon after they were
released and then pulled back.
