Some pointers that will help avoid receiving and spreading an email virus in
the first place...
_TURN_OFF_HTML_EMAIL_ (both read and write)
This has been stressed many, many time in the past ... just search the
archives. Not to mention that proper news group posting etiquette states
plain text only.
In Outlook Express, jack up the security options as high as you can bear it.
At minimum, make sure it is set _NOT_ to execute any inline java/active x
components. This will stop an email virus like the KAK worm dead in its
tracks.
This is not meant to be a specific 'poke' at any person in particular, just
a general observation. I see people complaining about email viruses and
they are contributing to it - if they know it or not.
