[cobalt-users] PostgreSQL Problem

I still have Problems with creating a new PostgreSQL Database.

[postgres@www /]$ createdb mynewbd 
Connection to database 'template1' failed.
fe_sendauth: no password supplied

createdb: database creation failed on mynewbd.
[postgres@www /]$
--------------------------------

Does anybody know how to fix this problem?
