Re: [cobalt-users] ssh and updates

You may wish to include [Qube2] in the subject. Many of us filter for the
Qube stuff; in addition Jeff will someday have a Qube list.

I have not yet installed ssh, someone else might help. You may wish to search
the archives for ssh - that thread has been discussed heavily. See About
Cobalt at http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-users. Search using
ssh. You might take a peek at the KB too.

:>updates - Are there any updates that I should be applying to the Quebe 2 and if so, where do I get it and instructions to install?

Try http://www.cobalt.com/support/download/qube2.eng.html for a list of
things to install. Be sure to compare what it is you are installing versus
what is already installed. For example, the mfg pkg contains a fix for a
problem for Cobalt Qube 2 that where manufactured between 5/17/99 and
5/26/99.

The pkgs are listed in the reverse order of when they were released. I,
therefore, installed them from the bottom of the page up (as have others).

Look on around page 59 of the manual for instructions on how to install the
pkgs (http://www.cobalt.com/support/pdf/qube2manual.pdf).
