E-mail will NOT work using granitecanyon as DNS.... Reasons:

mx records must point to www.yourdomain.com....

www.yourdomain.com must be an A record....

Granitecanyon only allows one A record per IP address and you MUST have 
yourdomain.com as an A record or else granitecanyon won't submit it.

You will most likely get Recursion errors.  At least thats what happend to me.
