you can test if you can telnet port 25 of your domainname
and look if there is any entry in your logfile. You should
get a message like 'NOQUEUE: Null connection from bla@bla [127.0.0.1]'
If so, then you must examine your MX-record. If not, smtp-service
is not configured.
