[cobalt-users] cgi-bin folder

Please, can you help me about cgi folders

I try to use only one cgi-bin folder, specially made for this purpose, in a
RaQ3 Server and a possibility for all the sites (with or without rights for
cgi) to use it (with: http://www.???.com/cgi-bin/cginame.cgi).
In fact a way for all sites to use some standards cgi (form mail, counters,
etc) and an easy way for me to update and change them for all the sites.

I try a lot of thinks (apache indirection, apache alias, linux link, access
with cgiwrap, etc) but nothing work (cgi-wrapper or server errors)

1) Where is the best place to put my special cgi-bin folder ?
2) What kind of privileges is the best for this cgi-bin folder (root 755) ?
3) The best way to use this cgi-bin folder from all the RaQ sites ?
4) A special configuration for the rights to use cgi only in this folder
    (for sites without cgi rights) ?
