I have not used Chilisoft's ASP, but have used ASP.  I don't think it is
worth $999.  I am very concerned about the closed-source nature of the
software and that you are at the mercy of the developer(s) to provide you
with binaries patches (security and otherwise).  This can be a very
uncomfortable position to be in if there is a big security hole and the
vendor hasn't provided a patch.

I would highly suggest (especially if you don't have much invested in ASP
scripts) considering using PHP (http://www.php.net) in combination with
MySQL (http://www.mysql.com) or another database back-end.

You will not be disappointed with your decision.
