I must apologise for not having answered your "Qube question", when it first
arrived.

I do own a Qube1, but I've not applied many of the recent updates - so my
answers would have (1) yes, (2) no, and (3) not applicable.  So, rather than
adding unnecessarily to the traffic on the list, I just decided to skip it.

The reason I've not applied the latest updates are several:
(a) the kernel updates look fairly severe (and there were some warning about
them on the list, I seem to recall), so I was waiting till I got hold of an
OS restore CD;
(b) I'm going on holidays, and I'm firmly of the belief that that's the
wrong time to modify something that the company relies on for their e-mail;
(c) I don't yet know enough about Linux to be able to undo/correct major
problems;
(d) I'm a procrastinator.
