Excuse my language, but WTF is the point of a Qube-specific mailing list,
when asking a trivial Qube-specific question on this list generates no
response at all? (Unless I've missed it.)

Now I know that whinging about lack of helpful responses generally shows
Lack of Clue, but in this case I am aggrieved that not one of the Qube1
owners on here has bothered to do me the favour of a simple check of
which OS patches they've put on and whether /var/log/maillog still contains
a log of mail activities. It's not like I'm asking someone to rewrite
sendmail.cf for me.

When I know that there are people on this list with a Qube1, when I've
put "Qube Question" in the subject line so that even the list-skimmers
will see it, and I get nothing back out of the list in response to a
trivial question, where is *my* incentive to put anything back into the
list?
</rant>

Apologies to any and all offended if I'm wrong, and in fact my questions
never made it in to their inbox, or they've been off ill since Thursday,
or the cat just got run over and they were too upset, or I've got it
completely wrong and mailing lists *are* just a way of getting technical
advice for free and *don't* work on the basis of give and take.
