As a guess, I would say yes. Then you would have both
http://sprinville.fortuna.ca.us/ and http://www.springville.fortuna.ca.us/
This is assuming you don't run the DNS for fortuna.ca.us or for ca.us and
the registrar has only springville.fortuna.ca.us pointing to your DNS.
