Again thanks to Gerhardt and Mike for your responses!
I really hate to give up on this issue!
I have tried everything that <we> can think of.
This Qube2 appears to be operating normally, bootup sequences and everything
looks normal!
If the Qube2 does support the serial port access, then that is where it will be
fixed!
Mike, your reference to the fellow using the palm pilot was interesting and does
indicate that the Qube2 does support the serial interface. But it sure looks
dead on this Qube2.
But then does it need DSR or DTR to become active? Hell, I don't know and if it
does Cobalt is keeping it a secret!
I did hear from Cobalt Support, and they suggested (rather I suggested and they
agreed) the serial port interface @ 9600 baud. But, did the guy I was talking to
offer any other advice or explain the complete specifications for the serial
port - NO! Can I believe him?
I am not giving up! If anyone on the list has a suggestion, Please RESPOND.
Thanks, Gerald
