Yes

We run squid on our qube 2. Works well. I should say that we brought the
unixpac web cache module which is really just squid with a cobaltesque
interface. Makes installation pretty damn simple. However if you object to
paying unixpac US$99 for public domain software with a rejigged interface
you could install it yourself I guess. I believe a squid package is on the
unsupported cobalt ftp site. Anyway we're very pleased with the
performance.
