I'd guess that today (Thursday), one day before Hasta-la-vista-day,
everything's done that's going to be done.

I'm amazed that Thom posted to cobaltfacts that the "DandJ show" (I'm
the "J") is trying to fractionalize the community. Not so; for over a
year I've been concerned about what to do when this list went away, and
over a year ago I made plans for what I'd do to keep it running.
That's so as to NOT fractionalize the group.

The fact that even one person posted in the poll that I couldn't move
his address, meant I couldn't move the list, because I don't know who
that poster is.

So now we've got two main users lists (three if you want to count
Zeffie's. My wag (wild-ass-guess) is that that none of them have more
than 10% of the members this list has.

Many of those of us who've been able to help on this list have not and
will not go away. I'll still be posting replies (and occasional
requests for help) on both CobaltFacts and on the qbalt lists. I
imagine many of the rest of us will as well.

And I suppose we'll all be available privately as well. I know I will.

In the meantime, in case you need it, here, yet again, is the URL of the
CobaltFacts list of various mailing lists and forums:
