[cobalt-users] Shall we move the Cobalt List?

- List-id: Mailing list for users to share thoughts on Sun Cobalt products. <cobalt-users.list.cobalt.com>
I've created a poll at go2polls.com.
It can be reached at: http://65.58.240.229/
But before you visit, you should realize the following:
Sun has nothing to do with moving the list. Craig Bernstein, the
current list-owner, will have nothing to do with the list at it's new
address, or with moving the list to the new server. The list, at the
new server, will be owned by Bruce Timberlake but most of the work will
probably be done by me and/or by Ryan Verner of Qbalt, as Bruce is
actively involved in a job search at this time.
The new list address will be hosted at qbalt.com.
The last post sent to the old list address will be forwarded to
list-members on Friday.
The first post sent to the new list address will be forwarded to
list-members on Monday.
I have no idea what will happen to posts sent to the old list address
after the list is closed down; my guess is that the server itself will
be decommissioned and email sent to the old address will be refused.
The list charter of the list at the new list address will not
significantly change, but may need some minor changes because the new
list is _not_ owned by any Corporate entity.
With those thoughts in mind, I'd appreciate it if you take a moment to
visit the poll, and let us know what you think.
Thanks.
Jeff
