Hi guys,
I was restoring the raq550 OS on a new disk in a real raq550.
It seems I used the cd with Gerald's iso of the 550 os without patches ...
my bad, I have a couple cd's here and I mixed them up ;-(.
I thought, no problem, I'll just ftp that tar file with all those patches
and use that.
It installed but got a few errors :
....
installing 07_RaQ550-All-Security-0.0.1-15674.pkg
cannot remove /etc/ssh - directory not empty
...
installing 26_RaQ550-All-Security-0.0.1-15562.pkg
cannot remove /etc/ssh - directory not empty
...
installing 31_RaQ550-All-Kernel-0.0.1-2.4.19C9_III-1.pkg
cannot remove /lib/modules/2.4.16C12_V/kernel/net - directory not empty
cannot remove /lib/modules/2.4.16C12_V/kernel - directory not empty
cannot remove /lib/modules/2.4.16C12_V - directory not empty
...
installing 36_RaQ550-All-Kernel-0.0.1-2.4.19C10_III-1.pkg
package bwmgmt is not installed
...
installing 44_RaQ550-All-Security-0.0.2-16623.pkg
rpm: no packages given for uninstall
...
I guess I don't really have to worry about these or do I ?
Anyway the raq went for a reboot and after that it just show that clock and
it hung. Doh!?
Any ideas ?
Another question :
At Jeff's raqware iso page I see a couple of new iso :
RaQ550-13-040317.iso
RaQ550-13-big-040317.iso
Can someone (Gerald?) explain these? Is this the 550 os with newer patches ?
Is it for 3,4 and 550 ?
Thanks
John
