was NOT part of my post. I am talking about the footer that the mailing-list
adds at the bottom of each post.

The only function of that footer, is to tell people what the list is and
where to look if they need to subscribe or what archives to search if they
need moreinfo on the subject. So, if the list moves to another URL it only
makes sense to change that footer, so it displays correct information.

Your, or anybody else's, sig will stay untouched. Only that footer will
change.
