OK Brian,
Leaving the GUI issue and trying to test if the actual DNS records
are there.
Several way to test if your DNS records are residing on the server.
As I understood the named is now running on your server.
You can try to dig any of your domains from the command line or use:
http://us.mirror.menandmice.com/cgi-bin/DoDig
for nameserver input your server IP address or one of your DNS nameservers.
for domain input one of the domain that you have transported its record to
the server.
choose any record.
click perform query and should return full DNS records of your domain if the
configuration
is right.
Will come back to the GUI after confirming that the DNS is now working.
Also you can restart named and check your /var/log/messages for erros.
