Riverside Calif (see my sig) has been successfully using eVoting for
three years, and our local registrar of voters is suing the department
overseeing elections for decertifying machines that have run so well in
Riverside.
The State office overseeing elections just took it on themselves to
decertify all electronic voting systems in California, after many
jurisdictions paid millions of dollars to update to them.
So it looks like all of California will be relying on absentee ballots
this fall. Look for an even greater President vote debacle than last
time.
Oh well.
I know all about the limitations of internet polls; if there were a
better alternative, I'd probably use it.
