[cobalt-users] Strange message: sendmail startup with someone elses IP address

I am new to the list so please forgive me if this is a stupid question:

I SSH'd into my box and ran ps -ef and listed the processes. I found
an entry:

sendmail startup 211.245.129.168

I ran the command again and it was gone. A few minutes later some email
started to come into the box. I don't know if the two are related or not.

I went online to www.arin.net and found that this IP address is in the ASIA
PACIFIC NETWORK (an area I had problems with a few years ago - I was
hacked)

I currently have a firewall that uses IP chains etc. but was wondering what
this message meant.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
