[cobalt-users] RAQ4: update to Perl-5.8.4

 I have been reading the following excellent doc :

And now I have several questions. Maybe someone would be that kind to give
me an explanation?

1) should I download the tarball to a certain dir, i.e. /usr/lib, prior to
extracting ?
2) I do not use a postgresql but mysql. Does it make any difference I should
be aware of?
