Subject: [cobalt-users] Raq550 + Awstats 5.9-1
BUT, when I try to read them (www.e-maxx.info/awstats) it is asking me for a
login and a password.
Then, I get : "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration
and was unable to complete your request. Your administrator may not have
enabled CGI access for this directory. "
I have 2 questions : What do I need to do to prevent the error message and
how to get ride of the login request ?
thanks in advance
davis
ps : I am a new to the Linux / Cobalt world, so please, explain step by
step.

Did you enable the following in your /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf ?
Remove comment mark in front of that so it reads like:
LoadModule pam_external_auth_module modules/mod_auth_pam_external.so
then reload apache with /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd reload
After this you should be able to login with a siteadmin account when
prompted.
