1) Booting up with the console port connected will Report the ROM type.
IIRC "Intel - Sharp" (this is the BAD one)
"AMD AM29F080B" (this is the good one!)
2) Open the hood, pull the label off the ROM
Intel ROMs have white print, you can't mistake it.
AMD ROMs are difficult to read, dark print.
