Not strictly true, Phil is correct, if you have any of the default index
files (index.htm, index.html, index.php etc)
Then theese wil be served. If there is not an index file that apache can
recognise then it will browse the directory (unless you turn browsing off).
So Phils method will work BUT every directory you have on the sevrer needs
an index file of some description to stop the directory being browsed.
