Check the headers, top and bottom, make sure they are not damaged (top)
and solder looks OK (bottom) Use a magnifing lens to inspect the solder
joints. Clean the board throughly, some times contamination can cause
these kinds of errors.
Make sure the drives are configured as Master.
You don't say which ROM version the board is running. If previous to
2.3.38, upgrade it.
