As your using the ip address, is it looking for the username and password
for the box, maybe?
Where have you put phpMyAdmin?
If you have www.mainsite.com as the primary site on the box then you can put
it in the web directory for that site. Then just go to
www.mainsite.com/phpMyAdmin-2.5.2rc1 (or whatever the directory is called).
I don't think you should be prompted for a username and password unless you
have set one up for that directory.
You will have to set a username and password for the config of phpMyAdmin
though. By default it will be root and cobalt-mysql. You set this in the
config.inc.php file and there are several places that it needs to go.
You should then be up and running.
Persevere with it and it'll be well worth the effort. If you get problems,
I can recommend www.cobaltsupport.com as a good resource for good value paid
support.
Hope this helps
