Hi all
Well, after puzzling over this one I'm completely stuck.
http://www.davidjones.uk.com
I moved it from one box to another and it didn't work as anticipated. I've
now amended the nameservers to point at the right ones and I still can't
make head nor tail of it.
I do a DNS check and it shows it's pointing to:
ns.redcatmedia.net (212.67.196.157)
ns2.redcatmedia.net (212.67.196.157)
I use www.checkdns.net and it also checks the www server and I get this:
Checking HTTP server www.davidjones.uk.com [212.67.197.197]
HTTP server www.davidjones.uk.com[212.67.197.197] answers on port 80
197 is the old box and it's been deleted from there through the GUI and all
the DNS records as well. Nothing should be pointed at the 197
(ns.mediamarks.net) box at all.
It is definitely set up on the 157 box. I've deleted it and re-added it.
I've checked my httpd.conf file, I've restarted the web server through ssh
and still the site just goes back to ns.redcatmedia, net (the 157 box).
The customer has been good so far but is starting to get a bit agitated.
I'm completely at a loss as to where I should look next.
Any help (in words of one syllable please) would be gratefully received.
Andy
