Greetings All,
I am trying to restore the OS on a RaQ4r using a PC that I have used on several ocassions in the
past.
I have a crossover cable plugged into the Network card (NetGear, listed as compatible in the OS
restore docs) running to the primary network interface on the RaQ. Holding down the S button while
booting allows me to select Boot from net with no problem but the machine never gets past Loading
Kernel. I have tried a couple different OS restore CDs all with the same result.
So far I have tried:
replacing the NIC card
replacing the crossover cable
running two standard cables through a Fast Ethernet hub
downloaded and tried new CD images
reseting the CMOS
Have I missed something obvious or do I need to be looking for a RaQ Doctor?
Thanks,
Harry Mueller
