you could also place a .forward file in every users homedir with
"user@[newip]" to forward all mail that still arrives on the "old" server to
the new ip. but beware if you are using different ip's for the customers,
because that will make it more complicated.

formail -s /path/to/sendmail user@xxxxxxxxxx < spoolfile Should send the
email in the user spool to his new address.
Make sure that the MX records are correct first, and that the sending server
does not receive email for the domain.
