You could try:
FROM:name@xxxxxxxxxxx[TAB]RELAY
I'm not sure if that would work though.
But, if you have POP before SMTP, your client doesn't need a static IP.
His IP shouldn't be changing between the time he checks his POP3 and
sends via SMTP.
